BTS have just begun a historic night, arriving at their first-ever Grammy Awards as the first k-pop group to ever be nominated for an award. V, RM, Suga, Jimin, Jungkook, Jin, and J-Hope dressed stylishly for the occasion, wearing matching black suits.

The boys' album Love Yourself: Tear and its art director, Seoul-based branding company HuskyFox, have a nomination in the Best Recording Package category. But V, RM, Suga, Jimin, Jungkook, Jin, and J-Hope will also be part of the show. Variety reported ahead of time that the boys would be presenting an award. Photos of the seating chart released ahead of the broadcast showed that BTS' members will be placed near A-listers like Miley Cyrus and Dolly Parton.

On the red carpet, the boys told reporters that their next album would be out "real soon." RM explained that "there could a collaboration song and some joint songs. We don’t know. We’re working on it." When asked who the boys were most excited to see tonight, they said, "H.E.R, Lady Gaga, Camila Cabello, Travis Scott, everybody."

Attending the Grammys has been a dream of the band. Suga told Jimmy Fallon so much back in September when the boys were on The Tonight Show.

Back in May 2017, right as the boys were going to their first U.S. award show ever, the Billboard Music Awards, they talked to ELLE.com about how they felt about breaking barriers in the U.S. Even then, they saw it as just the beginning. "I think so many miracles have happened, from Twitter emoji to the Billboard Music Awards," RM said. "But at the same time, we're just getting started and there are still more amazing things to accomplish for BTS, and we can't wait for that to happen."

"It's such an honor for BTS, and I'd have to say it's only a beginning," J-Hope concurred. "We want to and will go further and higher. It's all possible with the support of our fans around the world."
