This afternoon, while Selena Gomez is still off vacationing in Italy, her friend Petra Collins unveiled the singer's latest work: a new horror short for IGTV, Instagram's new long video platform. Remember how nightmare-inducing the "Fetish" music video was? This teaser is in that same style, full of disturbing imagery of Gomez sucking on an eyeball, eating icing that she scrapped off her leg with a knife, wearing colored contacts, and just generally trying to creep you out:

Gomez wanted this, by the way. The two have talked for over a year about how they want to do a horror movie together. Last May, Collins told Vanity Fair about their plans: "I love The Exorcist and the things that come from inside you," Collins said. "The things that are a little more subtle, and things that you deal with from inwards, and I feel like it's something Selena and I both love talking about...that topic is sort of dear to us."
Meanwhile, Gomez is over in Italy, wearing Call Me By Your Name styles. She's really been embracing the scrunchie, and the visual altogether is a nice palette cleanser!
