Long before she starred as Pauletta on Being Mary Jane, Gabrielle Union enjoyed a stint in the late '90s and early 2000s playing the most popular girl in high school, with movies including Bring It On and She's All That. On Thursday, Union shared a behind-the-scenes #tbt photo of the cast of the fantastic '90s teen film 10 Things I Hate About You and reminded us all of the age-old question: "I know you can be overwhelmed, and you can be underwhelmed, but can you ever just be whelmed?"

Along with Union, the snapshot features costars Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Krumholtz, Andrew Keegan, and Larisa Oleynik. In the film, Union played Chastity Church, the self-absorbed mean girl and best friend of Bianca Stratford.

"Just a bunch of kids having the time of our lives up in Tacoma/Seattle... 1st movie & an experience that I'll never forget. The best/coolest/most generous group of people to share my 1st film experience. What a time man. [Love] and eternal light," she captioned the photo, adding #RIPHeath.

Released in 1999, the romantic comedy was the launching pad and first movie for the young cast— with the exception of Gordon-Levitt, who had already found fame with NBC's 3rd Rock From the Sun. Union reflected that it was her first film experience and one that she'll never forget, a sentiment echoed by Stiles, the film's lead, in an interview with US Weekly:

"It was such a fun summer and such a pure experience of working on a movie where we were all— this was our first big break. We were really open and invested and it was really fun being in Seattle."
