Pour one out for Central Perk. Friends, the beloved series starring Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox, is officially leaving Netflix in 2020.

According to E! News, all 10 seasons of the show will be leaving the platform next year and will instead be available on HBO Max, the new streaming platform from WarnerMedia. It was reported that Netflix paid about $100 million to keep the show for the entirety of 2019 after fans were upset about the original January 2019 expiration date.

The show will be joining a number of other programs on HBO Max, including Pretty Little Liars and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, as well as the forthcoming CW series Batwoman and Katy Keene. HBO Max will launch in the spring of 2020 and will also offer some original shows. According to Variety, it’s unclear as of now what the pricing will be for HBO Max.

Netflix tweeted about the news, saying: "The One Where We Have To Say Goodbye. We’re sorry to see Friends go to Warner's streaming service at the beginning of 2020 (in The US). Thanks for the memories, gang." The tweet came with an emoji of a coffee cup, which we can only assume Rachel poured for Ross while Gunther watched balefully from the back of Central Perk.

The show is the second heavy hitter to announce it's leaving Netflix. It's been reported that Netflix is also losing The Office in 2021 to NBC's streaming service.

Netflix tweeted about that show's departure as well, writing, "We're sad that NBC has decided to take The Office back for its own streaming platform—but members can binge watch the show to their hearts' content ad-free on Netflix until January 2021."

That leaves you the rest of the year to rewatch both shows as many times as possible. Good luck!
