Cara Delevingne and her girlfriend Ashley Benson are finally Instagram official in honor of Pride month. The model posted a video of her kissing Benson with the caption “#PRIDE,” tagging the former Pretty Little Lies actress in the post. Benson commented with three red hearts.
While Delevingne and Benson may have just confirmed their relationship, the couple have been linked together for a little over a year. Last summer Benson furthered rumors when she started wearing a necklace with her and Delevingne’s initials. More recently, she supported her model girlfriend when she walked the runway for Chanel back in March. Stylist Jamie Mizrahi shared a photo of the couple cuddling in the back of a car in Paris after the show writing, “post show cuddle puddle.”
Delevingne has been opened about her sexuality since coming out as bisexual in 2015 during an interview with Vogue. While speaking to model Adwoa Aboah for Glamour in 2017, Delevingne revealed her struggles since coming out.
“Once I spoke about my sexual fluidity, people were like, “So you’re gay.” And I’m like, “No, I’m not gay,’” she said. “A lot of the friends I have who are straight have such an old way of thinking. It’s “So you’re just gay, right?” [They] don’t understand it. [If] I’m like, “Oh, I really like this guy,” [they’re like], “But you’re gay.” I’m like, “No, you’re so annoying!”…. Someone is in a relationship with a girl one minute, or a boy is in a relationship with a boy, I don’t want them to be pigeonholed.”
She added: “I’m fluid! I like fluid.”
For now, Delevingne seems to be more than content in her relationship with Benson.
