Fact: Tina Knowles-Lawson's Instagram is the best. On top of the fact that she slays 62 with the grace of a woman half her age, and despite the occasional sighting of daughters Beyoncé and Solange, Ms. Tina doesn't need any famous guest appearances to give us life on the 'gram. Let's see: there's feeding her man watermelon and politely letting y'all know her hair is all hers and taking a stand against police violence and toasting to the epic Lemonade visual album with a glass of lemonade and being the coolest grandma on the Internet and jumping off a yacht to the background voices of what sounds like Blue, Jay, and Beyoncé. And because her slayage deserves another mention, get into this look.

Mama Tina has curated the perfect Instagram of moments and throwbacks that leave us anxiously waiting for more. How does she do it? Well, we asked her so you can do your very best @mstinalawson impression.

DO: See What The Hype Is All About

"How it came about is my husband was doing a couple of TV movies for TV One. We were in Detroit. I went out there with him for the month and I'd be sitting around the set all day. Everybody would be on their phones doing Instagram and nobody looked bored but me. I allowed the girls to hook me up or whatever. I just did one post and it was just fun."

DO: Be Spontaneous

"I'm just going through my day. I'm at Costco and I'm like, 'Mmm. These samples are really good. You can come have a little buffet.' I just posted it. It's just like whatever I'm doing in my day. It's very spontaneous. It's not like I say, 'Oooh, let me plan what I'm going to do.' You know what's funny? I try to have things like Corny Joke Friday. I don't follow through on it, but it's a fun idea. Life doesn't work like that for me so it's just whatever I come up with that day."

DON'T: Underestimate Your Influence

"Sometimes people hear that you help somebody or you said something that really resonated with them that they really needed to hear. Sometimes people get motivated to go and do stuff. That makes me feel really good because I feel like I'm affecting people in a good way."

DO: Respect Folks' Privacy

"I don't post pictures of my grandchildren unless I get permission. I'm really respectful about that. If I feel like anything is invasive of someone's privacy, I don't do that either. Sometimes I have great pictures, but I'm like, 'Eh, maybe this is not right.' Some things I put on there, but nothing too deep or too personal because I think it is a fun way to communicate. I'm having a good time. I've been so private in my life that it's kind of fun to do, but I know that you can cross the line if you get too caught up in it."

DON'T: Feed the Trolls

"People tell me all the time that they get some horrible comments. I have to be honest, I've had a few, but overall people are positive. I'd like to reinforce that fact that if you put out positive stuff that that's what you get back. There's some haters that come, but I choose to not even [engage]. I love the block and delete. You wish you could do that in life. [Laughs] We're going to have a good time here and that's what we do. I'm enjoying it so far."

DO: Check People if Necessary

"I can't really advise anybody else; you do whatever is good for you. I think that people go too far and I'm human, so I'll respond. You'll never see me going back and forth—being crazy on there. Sometimes you have to put people in check because they get carried away. It's just kind of educating them to look at things from a different perspective as well. I don't think they mean any harm.

I just went to a theater and I took my camera and zoomed around the room. I was there an hour early and I was just sitting. So many people were doing that because the theater was absolutely beautiful so I was like, 'Let me share this picture.' There were several people that were like, 'I'm an avid theater-goer and I know that that's not proper etiquette and blah, blah, blah.' I'm like, 'Come on, guys. Thank you very much.' I do appreciate it because they obviously thought that I had never been to a theater before. I think I did it in a very kind way. I think that people didn't mean any harm. They were just trying to tell me because they didn't think that I knew. I think it's a little insulting to not only me, but all those people that were in that theater that were doing the same thing that I did. I got the idea from the person in front of me."

DO: Consult Beyoncé if It's A Picture of Her

"Yeah, I do. Her and Solange. I ask them, 'Can I post a picture?' It's just respect. They are celebrities and I never want to put anything out that they don't want out there, so I ask all of them, 'Is it okay?' They'll tell me, "Yes" and sometimes they'll say, 'No. I don't like that picture. That picture is wack.' I'm like, 'Okay. I can respect that.'"
