Beyoncé stopped Instagram in its tracks early Saturday morning when she showed off a sparkling red gown with a leg slit to rival Angelina Jolie. The singer-cum-actress posted photos to Instagram of her in the stunning dress, including one of her and Jay Z, who was wearing a white suit jacket for what was most likely the fanciest date that’s ever happened.
Beyoncé has been busy showcasing her style on the red carpet recently for the many premieres of her recent film, The Lion King. Earlier this month she wore a long golden gown to the film’s London premiere where she met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The two couples spoke about their children with each other with Beyoncé telling Meghan, “The baby is so beautiful. We love you guys.”
Good Morning America recently got the rare opportunity of a sit down interview with Beyoncé, where she discussed her role as Nala in The Lion King and providing music for the film’s soundtrack.
“I am still in a bit in shock that I'm a part of this film because I grew up watching The Lion King. It's the first Disney movie that brought me to tears,” she said. “Being a mother, my family is my biggest priority. It’s not many films that the parents can go and feel the way I feel about The Lion King and...pass that legacy on to their kids.”
