Meghan Markle is back in the spotlight and showing off some new jewelry. While making her first public appearance since giving birth to her first child last month, Meghan wore a new, delicate ring on that finger. So, what does it mean?

After the popular Meghan Markle fashion blog tweeted out a close-up of Markle’s ring finger at the Trooping the Colour celebration, showing that the Duchess is now wearing three rings, the Internet was quick with its ideas. Many suggested that the new addition is an eternity ring, which is usually given following marriage to represent the couple’s endless love. It’s possible that Harry gifted Meghan the ring following the birth of Archie.

Meghan’s reemergence into the public space has been welcomed by royal watchers. The new mom wore a navy blue Givenchy dress, the same designer of her famous wedding gown back in May 2018.

While Meghan has been keeping a low profile after the birth of Archie, she’s still made plenty of headlines. She skipped meeting with Donald Trump during his state visit earlier this week, presumably to stay at home with her son, which led to a resurfacing of some comments she made about the presidential candidate in 2016.

“It’s really the moment I go; we film Suits in Toronto and I might just stay in Canada,” she said during an interview on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. “Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right? I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it.”

Naturally, Trump had his own response to the old interview, saying, “I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty,” before adding that she thinks she will make a “very good” princess.

The comments don’t appear to have bothered Meghan though. She’s been all smiles since stepping out for Trooping the Colour.
