Prince Harry and Barack Obama's friendship has been well documented, with the pair hanging out at the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto, and Obama sending his best wishes to the prince upon his engagement to Meghan Markle. And now, a new video clip proves just how much fun the pair have when they're together.
In a video clip from the BBC, we get to see Prince Harry prepare to interview Obama for a segment on the Today Show which will be broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on December 27. The pair recorded the interview while they were at the Invictus Games, and before recording began, there was a lot of banter in the room. While Prince Harry admitted to being nervous about the interview, Obama looked jovial to be involved.
Following the news that Prince Harry is to marry Meghan Markle in May 2018, the former president took to Twitter to share a sweet message with the couple. He wrote, "Michelle and I are delighted to congratulate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their engagement. We wish you a lifetime of joy and happiness together."
The prince, and the former president, were also photographed together back in May 2017, when Obama visited Harry at Kensington Palace during a trip to the United Kingdom.
As for the forthcoming December 27 interview, it guarantees to showcase the pair's budding bromance. While Prince Harry threatened to give Obama "the face" if he paused for too long between questions, Obama jokingly asked, "Do I need a British accent?" Basically, this interview looks set to be a match made in heaven.
