A decade ago, Selena Gomez was just an up-and-coming Disney star somewhat secretly dating Nick Jonas. The two went on a date in Central Park once—a date that Selena will troll Nick about today because of how he behaved.

Nick was on BBC Radio 1 with a heart rate monitor attached to him when host Nick Grimshaw played a video of Selena asking him about that day and purposely trying to get his heart rate up:

"Hello Nicholas, it’s Selena Gomez," she started. "I don’t need to say my full name with you, but it is. So I know what you’re doing, and I would like to remind you of a time where we all went to Central Park together. It was definitely over 10 years ago. I was wondering if that brought up anything for you. You know, Central Park was really beautiful. It was actually my first time. Maybe that says something? If not, I failed."

Right before Nick Jonas’s heart rate peaked.

Jonas's heart rate soared, and then he explained what she meant. "This was at a time where my brothers and I were a boy band, and we were in Central Park," he said. "And we were very private about our relationship and she was unhappy that her Central Park experience was ruined by the fact that I walked about 20 feet away from her even though they were taking pictures of us and obviously we were there together, I was like, ‘it’d be better if we stood about 25 feet apart. So it ruined her Central Park experience. So her and Taylor Swift—who was dating my brother Joe, but we never confirmed it—walked about 25 feet behind us as we walked through the park by ourselves."

While dating Nick, Gomez appeared in Nick Jonas's music video for "Burnin' Up" as his love interest. She called their relationship "like puppy love, you know, it was very sweet," years later, in 2015.

Selena also talked about how she actually met Taylor Swift through Nick, when she was on Kiss UK radio last month. "We actually dated the Jonas Brothers," she said then. "It was hysterical, yeah. But it was amazing because she was the girl with the big curly hair and all the bracelets and the cowboy boots, and I was definitely up and coming. And we just clicked. It was like—it was the best thing we got out of those relationships..."

In addition to being asked about Selena while on BBC Radio 1, Nick was also asked about his other Disney ex Miley Cyrus and her song "7 Things" being about him. He was remarkably calmer during that:
